Job Summary

This role is astrategic leadership position with a significant impact on operational success for the WC Bradley Outdoor Cooking Group (OCG). This leader will drive the functional strategy, operating plans, and daily execution across North America manufacturing and distribution facilities. Those facilities include three pellet manufacturing sites, seven warehouse sites, and over 250 employees. This role will collaborate closely with Global Supply Chain and Sales to achieve best-in-class service levels with retailers and consumers.

Reporting to the Group President - Outdoor Cooking Group, you will play a key role in the senior leadership team to steer company strategy, define annual business plans, set management practices, and lead a global organization with over 75-year history and 600 employees. Outdoor Cooking Group includes Pit Boss, Charbroil, Oklahoma Joe's and Current brands with shipments ranging from full truckloads of grills to pallets of pellet fuel to parcel delivery of accessories.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a high-performance team culture across numerous sites
  • Define operational strategy for manufacturing and distribution that aligns with long-range strategic plan for Outdoor Cooking
  • Establish team capabilities to operate against KPI's and continuous improvement
  • Drive manufacturing performance to lower conversion costs, optimize capital expenditures
  • Champion safety and employee well-being across Domestic Operations
  • Lead distribution studies to optimize warehouse footprint across North America
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain to optimize product costs, freight and working capital
  • Become recognized as a thought leader in Domestic Operations in the outdoor cooking industry

Qualification Requirements

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.


Experience:



  • 10+ years' experience in Operations
  • 5+ years' in executive role and functional leadership
  • Understanding of Lean principles and other best practices

Physical Requirements

Office environment with occasional travel required to various domestic operational sites.
