Providence is calling a Contract Sourcing Manager, MedSurg who will:

• Provide contract negotiation leadership, development and management services and counsel on matters for the Providence St Joseph Health enterprise
• Ensure that contracting services are provided according to enterprise and regional business need with priority placed on clinical/financial value, mitigating risk to the organization and legal and regulatory requirements, as well as stewardship
• Perform all duties in a manner that promotes Providence mission, values, and philosophy
• Serve as a role model for the values and mission of the organization
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer multiple contracts pertaining to the various key suppliers
• Work with the contracts through all phases until completion (pre-proposal through closeout) with a variety of suppliers
• Perform risk assessment of proposal/contract terms and conditions
• Be responsible to formulate and execute strategies to minimize potential risks and maximize value and expenditure to the business
• Direct timely and comprehensive negotiation and administration of either Medical Surgical supplies and agreements

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years experience in Contract Management, purchasing, supply management or a blend of healthcare and corporate contracting responsibilities

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• 1+ years experience in Implantable Devices: Managing device implants
• 1+ years' experience in IT Sourcing: Preference will be given to applications with IT, Healthcare or Project Management experience
• 1+ years' experience in Capital: Managing Capital Contracts

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
