Job Title: Material Room Kitter

Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, the Material Room Kitter supports the Material Control Room operation by performing physical and administrative tasks involved in kitting and material handling. The role ensures timely and accurate issuance, delivery, and movement of materials to meet production demands while adhering to FDA and cGMP procedures.


Work Schedule:

  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
  • Flexibility to adjust start and end times based on business needs may be required.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Material Handling and Delivery:



    • Deliver raw materials to various cells in the Cleanroom.
    • Perform material pre-issuance tasks, such as silicone mixture preparation and siliconizing raw materials as needed.



  2. System and Equipment Operations:



    • Operate computers, software, and printers according to training and specifications.
    • Accurately and promptly execute ERP system (SAP) transactions for all material movements.



  3. Workflow Management:



    • Ensure adequate replenishment of the Material Control Room and Cleanroom materials.
    • Respond promptly to radio requests for materials.



  4. Equipment Maintenance and Cleanliness:



    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
    • Perform end-of-shift cleanup tasks, including removing trash, boxing returned trays, cleaning workstations, and organizing pallets.



  5. Safety and Compliance:



    • Operate material transport equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
    • Ensure adherence to all safety policies and minimize risks.



  6. Reporting and Coordination:



    • Provide detailed end-of-shift reports to the incoming shift.
    • Assist other departments, including warehouse operations such as shipping and receiving.



  7. Additional Duties:



    • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.




Qualifications:
Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.


Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Ability to operate and be trained on forklifts, hand trucks, and other material transport equipment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards.
