The Vice President of Commerce will drive the commerce strategy and go-to market approach. Responsibilities for the Vice President of Commerce will include driving commerce initiatives forward internally and externally, but and setting the overall strategy and priorities for the group.

The Vice President of Commerce will report to the SVP of Business Development.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead commerce cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert for Fox

• Operationalize new commerce initiatives and verticals

• Developing commerce strategy and seek Senior Executive stakeholder buy-in

• Work across various teams (product/engineering, editorial, programming marketing, finance) to bring new opportunities to fruition and take advantage of internal resources to push the commerce initiative forward

• Extending and establishing commerce opportunities across different mediums (linear to digital and vice versa).

• Evaluate new commerce initiatives (proactive and reactive) for business opportunity and feasibility

• Connecting commerce data to content insights, creating best practices to drive higher revenue via content creation

• Ensuring commerce execution is in-line with the Fox Standards and Practices, including user expectations and perception of the brand

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 15+ years relevant work experience

• Passion and expertise in commerce required (including past experience with publisher commerce)

• Previous experience overseeing a team

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and business savvy

• Ability to execute and grow a new business

• Sound business acumen and ability to interpret data

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholder groups

• Ability to think creatively and try new things (and to quickly gauge success or failure)

• Ability to multi-task proficiency, bringing multiple complex projects to fruition simultaneously

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $222,500.00-311,500.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $185,400.00-259,500.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
