The successful applicant will be performing work on US Government classified environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil. The successful applicant must have a current US Government Secret Clearance. Must live within commuting distance and be able to work onsite 3-5 days per week in the Ft. Huachuca, AZ. Meet the Team Our Consulting Engineers are an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team delivering Business Critical Services to our customers! We combine the power of Cisco Analytics and knowledge, with outstanding technical expertise and consulting (that's you) to drive value, innovation, and adoption in our customer's network. We help them to reduce risk, drive innovation, and improve their network to meet business objectives. We are the customer's trusted advisor and expert, helping the customer understand their network, reduce risks, and take advantage of the technology. We work closely with Cisco Engineering to advocate for innovation for our customer and as a liaison, share what is coming with our customers to help them be the groundbreakers of technology. Your Impact As a Consulting Engineer, you will help drive the effort to transform our current and future network architecture for our customers. You will build customer deliverable documentation including High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), and Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) for the entire network portfolio. Bring your creative solutions and be a valuable asset to the team. Minimum Qualifications: * Secret Clearance * 2-4 years relevant experience in Cisco networking. * Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP)/R&S or equivalent skills (Routing/Switching). Preferred Qualifications: * Proven expertise in delivering Cisco standard methodologies and leading cross-collaborative teams to resolve sophisticated network problems. * Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively. * Superb communication, consulting, and customer relationship skills, capable of building productive partnerships and engaging with senior leadership. * Proficient in Enterprise Route/Switch, SDWAN, and Security technologies in an Army / DoD network environment * Ability to Evaluate future states of business and operational needs, propose roadmaps that meet the Government's desired outcomes with cloud and infrastructure management platforms through improved automation and orchestration, targeting their specified performance goals * Experience in evaluating current Cloud and Network Management Platforms(s) and analyzing customer's IT workflow Automation and cloud orchestration environment to optimize current and/or future solution implementations #WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
