Manager Global Custom Quality - Starkey Laboratories, Inc (Eden Prairie, MN).

Responsible to ensure quality of manufacturing processes, final product, and adherence to global regulatory requirements. Duties include: ensure customer requirements are met and product meets specification while reducing Cost of Poor Quality; evaluate and develop talent to utilize standard problem-solving methods and tools to reduce defect and improve process capabilities; conduct Quality/Six Sigma training and coach local teams to eliminate defects; Quality planning and local execution to transform organization to quality prevention and assurance mindset; assure linkage of Customer Requirements to Product Specifications, Component Critical Features and specifications, and Process Control plans; coordinate review and updates to Process FMEA's to assure risks have been identified and mitigated; assure capable measurement systems are defined with adequate GR&R for all specifications; collect data and make improvements to reduce customer complaints, improve internal processes, and quality of suppliers; collab with Customer Quality, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to assure customer reqs are met; monitor/report quality performance KPIs for custom product line and coordinate with management; assure compliance with Global Quality System reqs and maintain ISO 13485 certification; organizational improvement; and, communicate with customers and external Regulatory Agencies. Reqs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related technical field plus 7 years' quality assurance experience. Experience must include: operations and cross functional team leadership; leading quality improvement projects and CAPAs; and, completion of training in Six Sigma methodology. $143,315/year. 5 days/week in-office. Up to 15% travel to Matamoros, MX facility.
