Senior Field Service Technician

This position is responsible for testing and maintenance of electrical distribution equipment.

• Provide testing and maintenance services to customer's electrical equipment.
• Read schematics and possessing the ability to troubleshoot using schematics is a plus.
• Be able to operate all aspects of test equipment (Megger, Ductor, Power Factor, TTR, AC/DC HIPot, etc.).
• Terminate and splice medium voltage (5-15kv) cables.
• Help maintain test equipment and make sure equipment is in working order

• Strong logistical and organizational, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of electrical power distribution, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash hazards (NFPA70E) a plus
• Ability to read electrical drawings; knowledge to interpret and analyze schematics a must. AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Knowledge of NETA acceptance and maintenance testing procedures.
• Ability to understand and perform personal lockout procedures.
• Technical degree or applicable years of experience, required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
