ChampionX has an immediate need for a Supply Chain Project Manager located in Midland, TX.The Supply Chain Project Manager will oversee and drive critical projects within our supply chain operations. This position will work with cross-functional teams, optimize supply chain processes, and ensure the timely delivery of project objectives. What You Will Do:

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for supply chain initiatives.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within scope and budget.

Supply Chain Optimization

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.

  • Analyze data to uncover bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Lead initiatives on procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, operations, and finance teams to align project goals.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings to ensure clear communication and accountability.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related updates and issue resolution.

Risk Management

  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Track and address project risks and issues to minimize disruptions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Create and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to inform decisions.

  • Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong leadership qualities with a results-oriented approach.

  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).

Position Details:

  • Route territory will include but not limited to: Permian Basin

  • Work week and shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm schedule subject to change depending on business needs.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (master's preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or a related role.

  • Experience in managing large-scale supply chain projects, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PowerBi or similar).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications/Certification
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)

  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)

  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
