What You'll Do
  • Conduct detailed analysis and assessment of prospective projects to determine scope, resources, and equipment requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather all necessary project specifications and client needs to accurately estimate project costs
  • Use industry-standard software and methodologies to prepare precise cost estimates for projects, ensuring all financial considerations are accounted for
  • Assemble detailed, competitive, and comprehensive proposals and quotes for clients, including timelines, budgets, labor, and resource allocations
  • Ensure that all proposals comply with company standards and client specifications, while also ensuring profitability and risk management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing to ensure quotes are competitive and reflective of current market conditions
  • Works with Sales to oversee the execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction
  • Coordinate with the operations team to schedule the delivery and return of rental equipment
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to handle any arising issues or changes in scope
  • Provide technical support and expertise to the sales team during the pre-sale and quotation phases
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all estimates, projects, and contractual agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal departments (e.g., Finance, Logistics, HR) to optimize project outcomes and operational efficiency.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience as an estimator and project manager in the concrete forming and shoring industry or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of project management and estimating software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail
Your Education
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
