Carnegie Mellon University's Office of the Provost is searching for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a new opportunity for someone who thrives in an exciting and challenging work environment.
As a member of the Vice Provost for Academic Budgets & Financial Planning, this Financial Manager will serve as a financial expert and administrative partner on a transformative grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). This individual is responsible for the day-to-day management of a multi-year $50M+ grant from the BMGF; liaising with academic and central leadership at CMU, BMGF, and dedicated project subaward recipients; the organization, preparation, coordination, and analysis of multi-year grant supported operating budgets; and the presentation and development of financial and administrative dashboards for internal and external constituents. Note: this is a fixed term, grant funded position with an expected duration of 3-years. Core responsibilities include:
