Overview

We are looking for a Customer Development Representative (CDR) to join Bruker AXS Inside Sales team. As a Customer Development Rep, you will contribute to the acquisition of new clients, provide ongoing support to our clients and network with them. Your responsibilities include managing the leads through the sales pipeline, generating new business opportunities, supporting customers as they transition from sales prospects, and building close relationships that often last beyond any one project or job-order.

Responsibilities

o Research and pinpoint potential clients who could benefit from the company's products or services.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote retention and loyalty.
o Reach out to potential customers through various channels like calls, emails, and social media.
o Conduct regular check-ins with customers to ensure they are achieving their goals and provide insights to help them get the most out of the product.
o Assess the needs and interests of potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for the company's offerings.
o Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline, setting appointments and following up as needed.
o Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets and ensuring a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
o Address customer concerns and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
o Generate new pipeline and revenue through customer acquisition.
o Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services that could benefit the customer.
o Preparing accurate sales qualified leads forecasts to assist the company in increasing the bookings and revenue.
o Track customer engagement and satisfaction using various metrics and feedback systems.
o Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) and other Inside Sales tools to manage and document sales and support activities.
o Keep up to date with market trends, competition, and industry developments.
o Provide regular updates on activities and results to management.



Qualifications

    Diploma, bachelor's or master's degree. Education in Chemistry, Physics or another related field.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the Analytical Instrumentation sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft 365 tools. Experience with other Inside Sales related tools is valued.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales or other related fields
  • Language skills: English and other native region-specific languages.
  • Available for Hybrid or fully remote workplace.
  • Available for at least 10% travel globally.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $75,000 and $134,000 provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
