The Role: The Continuous Improvement Development Manager will be a key member of the QuidelOrtho Improvement Culture team. A successful candidate is an innovative problem solver that believes in Lean based/Data driven decision making. This position will be responsible for fostering a strong relationship with the end user community at QuidelOrtho, ensuring development of Continuous Improvement deadlines are delivered to, while aligning with QuidelOrtho Strategy. Leading the development of impactful training and team building strategies, setting the standard for Continuous Improvement facilitation and training, and designing executive-level analytics and reporting. This role requires strong analytical and presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal relationship building skills as this role will interface with multiple teams across the organization. Location: Preferred candidates to be based at our HQ in Summers Ridge, San Diego, CA, US - CA - Carlsbad - Rutherford, US - FL - Pompano Beach, US - NJ - Raritan, US - NY - Rochester, US - OH - Athens or UK - Pencoed. The Individual
The Key Working Relationships Internal Partners: Customer Excellence, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, etc. The Work Environment Typical dynamic office environment with extensive data management and flexibility to work additional hours as needed. No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 40% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 60% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical/ development work. Occasional travel may be required (25%). Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel. Salary Transparency The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $78,600.00 - $145,000.00 annually. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays.
