AI Software Validation Intern - Summer 2025

Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) is seeking a self-motivated intern to evaluate Crosswave AI solutions. You will work with a cross-functional team that includes partner and internal engineering teams to complete development of a test plan and evaluate solutions in real-world customer environments.

You will need to have the ability to work independently as a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in an ever-evolving environment, and adapt messaging across different audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills, including communicating clearly and convincingly. While they will need to work independently, they will have support within the organization to help guide and provide feedback.

Job Responsibilites:

• working with partners and internal engineering teams to develop repeatable validation processes,
• troubleshoot issues found, and recommend solutions, and
• generate detailed records of results.

Basic Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar)
• Basic programming and scripting skills (Python, C++, etc.)
• Basic understanding and interest of AI concepts (LLMs, Computer Vision, AI Hardware & Software, etc.)
• Some knowledge about computer hardware
• Experience with Ubuntu Linux

• You are comfortable asking questions and doing the due diligence to understand the landscape
• You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
• You have strong written and verbal communications skills
• You possess good time management and organizational skills
• You are creative and adaptable, with an eye for detail
