Pharmacy Technician, Advanced

Your Role

The Shield Concierge Pharmacy team provides efficient and accurate support to internal Shield Concierge (SC) Customer Care, Medical Care Solutions (MCS), Priority/Premier Services and Social Media for pharmacy related inquires. The Pharmacy Technician, Advanced will report to the Concierge Operations Supervisor. In this role you will provide white glove service while resolving outpatient pharmacy benefit coverage inquiries, including prescription claim processing problems, and communication of drug formulary guidelines and alternatives.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a California Certified Pharmacy Technician license
• Requires 4 years of pharmacy related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience
• Demonstrated ability to encompass basic understanding of internal procedures and policies needed to ensure effective execution of assigned tasks

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $23.83 to $33.36 for California.
