Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule. ~ 40 Hours/week, Full-time, Day/Evening shift ~ Summary: An outstanding opportunity for aBehavioral Health Counselorto join a team of highly skilled Counselors and provide in home therapy to clients across a spectrum of needs for ourMultisystemic Therapy (MST) Program. Multisystemic Therapy (MST),is an intensive, family-focused treatment for 12- to 18-year-olds who demonstrate problem behaviors and who are particularly at risk for out-of-home placements, such as juvenile detention facilities or residential treatment programs. The fundamental goals of MST are to decrease problematic behaviors and other clinical problems, increase parental ability to address future difficulties associated with raising an adolescent, and to minimize the risk of out-of-home placement. The role of Behavioral Health Counselor involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The incumbent will be under direct clinical supervision for services provided. All Behavioral Health Counselors are expected to function as active members of their teams. We are looking for a staff member with bachelor's level education combined with our offered MST Generalist Training. Our Behavioral Health Counselors aresupported by a high degree of support, supervision and consultation in adherence with the MST Services standard operating procedures. Must be willing to drive to homes within a 90 minute catchment area. Caseload is purposely kept small for driving times. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
