Financial Analyst, Experienced

Your Role

The Select and Specialty Finance team oversees the forecasting and financial reporting of the CalPERS, Federal Employees, National Par/BlueCard, Specialty as well as TriWest and TRICARE lines of businesses. The Financial Analyst, Experienced will report to the Finance Director. In this role you will be responsible for National Par/BlueCard/TriWest/TRICARE membership/financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting as well as understanding administrative expense allocations and claims/utilization trends.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Practical knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes and best practices preferred, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• Strong MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills required, Hyperion Essbase experience preferred, and SQL/SAS experience preferred
• Ability to take complex problems or sets of data and create meaningful and concise recommendations or reports
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and shifting directions
• Strong business aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
