Job Overview
Lead and improve our organization's business continuity efforts. This individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring that business continuity plans are detailed, maintained, and effectively integrated across the enterprise. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand and support the broader operational resiliency and cybersecurity ecosystem. You will influence continuity initiatives and help drive a cohesive program that proactively identifies and mitigates continuity risks.
A strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, a high level of motivation, and the ability to communicate and influence across teams is essential. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a background in training or awareness programs is a strong plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Govern and manage the development, documentation, and maintenance of comprehensive business continuity plans across all business units to ensure enterprise-wide resilience.
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to assess critical processes, dependencies, and potential recovery strategies.
- Establish, refine, and enforce business continuity policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Enable and support business continuity exercises and testing to validate recovery capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
- Deliver training and awareness programs to educate business units on continuity best practices and roles.
- Ensure that business continuity plans effectively support response, recovery, and restoration during operational disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Compliance, and other stakeholders to align continuity planning with disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and crisis response initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate business continuity risks through appropriate strategies and controls.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership and teams across the enterprise, promoting a culture of resilience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to continuously enhance the continuity program.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business leadership.
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree - Business, Risk Management, Emergency Management, or a related field (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 7-10 years Experience dealing with business operations (i.e. sales, care, supply chain, emergency management, etc.). (Required)
- 5 Plus years experience in business continuity, risk management or operation resilience (Strongly Preferred)
- Call center experience a plus (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of business continuity frameworks, practices, and regulatory standards (Required)
- Experience conducting BIAs, risk assessments, and facilitating continuity exercises (Required)
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex business interdependencies (Required)
- Proven project management skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset (Required)
- Excellent communication and influence skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across functions and lead stakeholders (Required)
- Strong organizational abilities and emergency management knowledge (Required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Disaster Recovery Institute (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $97,100 - $175,100

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
