ETL Developer Senior - Data Movement and Automation

The ETL Developer Senior develops, maintains, and implements efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and workflows to move data from operational systems to a centralized Data Warehouse. Working under minimal supervision, this position manages projects and processes required to ensure ETL solutions are efficient and scalable.

Specifics to Share:

The Data Movement and Automation team is responsible for automated movement, manipulation, archiving and logging of data through methods like API, SSH/SFTP and TCP/IP with endpoints including SharePoint/Teams, file shares and emails for Cone teams and departments.

MoveIT Automate - Application
Mirth - Application
Languages: Powershell, VBScript, Javascript
HL7 - Standard
Windows Server admin experience
Some MSSQL Server / SSIS / SQL Agent / SPs
Write SQL for basic queries
Strong knowledge of file formats and manipulation techniques

Not complex/aggregate SQL query writing for extracts
No SQL query tuning necessary
Not building load to database packages

Reviews the design, coding, testing, and deployment of complex and scalable ETL workflows to ensure efficient and accurate movement of data from operational systems to the Data Warehouse.
Develops all phases of data integration discovery, development, and support.
Establishes and reviews the techniques applied for ETL processes to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence with team standards.
Ensures comprehensive and quality technical documentation is complete and appropriate for all ETL solutions.
Prepares and participates in working with cross-functional teams and departments to develop and execute comprehensive unit and integrated test plans to ensure the reliability of ETL processes and workflows.
Serves as a mentor to other team members and establishes policies and procedures for the team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's Degree

Required: 4 years
