Willdan is a Municipal Services Firm that has provided superior engineering, planning, building, and many other consulting services to government agencies for more than 60 years. The future is now, Willdan is "Envisioning the future" of building and safety through our work with cities, buildings, and transportation. Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking on-call Animal Control Officers in the San Bernardino County area. This position is ideal for those with a passion for animal welfare and public service who are available to respond to animal-related calls during non-regular business hours.

On-call hours:

  • Monday: 6PM-4AM
  • Tuesday: 6PM-4AM
  • Wednesday: 6PM-4AM
  • Thursday: 6PM-4AM
  • Friday: 6PM-4AM
  • Saturday: 7AM-5PM & 6PM-4AM
  • Sunday: 7AM-5PM & 6PM-4AM

Each 10 hour on-call shift will pay a minimum of 2 hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enforcing local and state animal control laws and ordinances.
  • This position involves responding to complaints regarding animals, investigating animal cruelty or neglect cases, capturing and impounding stray or dangerous animals, and educating the public on responsible pet ownership and safety.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Animal Control Officer with 3+ years' experience.
  • Humane Officer experience required.
