Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- Enrolled in an Engineering College degree program
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work from product drawings, written and verbal instructions
- Strong documentation, report writing , and record keeping skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills to operate specific programs and access appropriate documentation
- Ability to work with hand tools and semi automated tools/fixtures
- Ability to work with electro-mechanical inspection and test gages and lab equipment
- Working knowledge of general machine shop and assembly practices and equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

- Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with Winchester policies and procedures
- Record and document all assembly related inspection and test results, materials/parts, tools and fixtures in accordance with defined product and process specification and assembly procedures
- Perform appropriate in process inspection and tests
- Set up and operate appropriate equipment tools and fixtures to cut, prop and trim cable, assemble connectors, labels and associated parts to form a complete assembly in accordance with specifications
- Record and document all assembly related inspection and test results, materials / parts, tools and fixtures in accordance with defined product and process specifications and assembly procedures
- Prepare work by studying product and process documentation, parts lists, tools and fixtures
- Work with Assembly Supervisor, QA and Process Engineering to ensure product quality, by identifying and resolving assembly issues
- Performs all labor, parts and related transactions on time and accurately in compliance with Winchester policies and procedures
- You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Assembly Supervisor, Quality Assurance and Process Engineers to ensure product quality by identifying and resolving quality and assembly issues
- You will be empowered to work with the team to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in product and process specifications
- Perform mechanical inspections / tests such as dimensional, connector cable retention and torque
- Support QA functions in performing root cause analysis
- Prepare work by studying product and process documentation, parts lists, tools and fixtures
- Set up and operate appropriate equipment, tools and fixtures to assembly connectors, labels, and associated components in accordance with specifications
- Perform all labor, parts and related transactions on time and accurately in compliance with Winchester policies and procedures
- Performs mechanical and electrical inspections and tests such as dimensional, connector/cable retention, torque, VSWR, phase, loss and impedance
- Support QW functions in performing root cause analysis
