Position Summary Tracking California is a program of the Public Health Institute, in collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, and our mission is to mobilize data for public health action. We "track" or compile and analyze data about public health and the environment to protect California communities. Our core values include environmental justice and health equity - we work to ensure that all Californians, regardless of location, identity, or income, have the opportunity to live in healthy communities protected from environmental hazards. To achieve this goal, we help community groups, government agencies, researchers, and health advocates shine a spotlight on environmental hazards and other factors that may be impacting community health. As part of our data team, the Research Associate IV (RAIV) will play a key role in supporting a variety of public health surveillance and research work within Tracking California's projects. This is a regular full time 100% FTE position. This is a remote California-based position. The incumbent must work from California and be able to travel to the Bay Area periodically as required. Full salary range for this position: $70,296 to $101,911 per year. The typical hiring range for this position is from $70,296 (minimum) to $86,104 (midpoint), based on 100% FTE.
