What you'll do

This Executive Investor Relations (IR) Coordinator role will often serve as the first line of contact between Viasat and its investors and is responsible for coordinating corporate access and managing information flow between the two, as well as provide executive level administrative support. This role requires a high-energy individual who is detail oriented, has a sense of urgency and takes initiative. Exceptional communication skills, judgment, discretion, a proven ability to keep executives on schedule and collaborate with others in similar roles are essential in this position.

The day-to-day

  • Maintaining and developing a positive public image for the organization
  • Coordinating shareholder meetings, conferences, roadshows, and quarterly earnings meetings
  • Gathering consensus data, investor profiles and shareholder ownership data for executive briefings
  • Releasing financial data
  • Organizing public and confidential financial data within SharePoint
  • Uploading investor meeting data into a CRM platform
  • Providing both executive and general support assisting cross-functional teams and visiting investors
  • Partnering with other EAs to provide c-suite level support
  • Complex calendar management
  • Set-up of web-based meetings and VTCs with colleagues worldwide
  • Travel planning, passport applications, international visa applications
  • Domestic and international expense reports
  • Assist in planning and executing on- and offsite events, including international events
  • Ordering office supplies and managing purchasing card account
  • Possess superb customer service and excellent communication skills
  • Pride yourself on your ability to maintain poise and diplomacy in all your daily interactions
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Exhibit attention to detail
  • Follow-through on commitments and anticipate needs
  • Can manage ambiguity by openly communicating with teammates and the people you support, asking appropriate questions, to determine the best way forward
  • Maintain high energy and have the ability to quickly prioritize and complete tasks
  • Have extensive experience in scheduling travel, meetings and events
  • Can juggle multiple tasks effortlessly

What you'll need

  • 5-10 years in an Executive Assistant, project management, or financial analyst role
  • Experience working with sensitive information that requires a high level of discretion
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with the talent to interface effectively and courteously with personnel and external contacts from various cultures and at all levels
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and initiative with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize, including the ability to concurrently manage various deadline-driven tasks from multiple sources, maintaining composure and attention to detail
  • Past history of working gracefully under pressure with little to no supervision
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment independently and with a team across multiple locations and departments
  • Ability to successfully manage workload while addressing numerous interruptions and unforeseen events
  • Highly motivated with the aptitude to learn quickly and independently
  • Outstanding use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Must be a US citizen

What will help you on the job

  • Preferred experience with IR Insights, FactSet or other IR or capital markets platforms

Salary range

$105,000.00 - $165,500.00 / annually.
For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $130,500.00- $195,500.00/ annually
