Overview

CAES is seeking a highly motivated Data Science Intern. You are at the heart of data-driven decision-making, transforming raw data into actionable insights that steer our strategic initiatives. Your expertise in data analytics and business intelligence tools enables you to provide invaluable guidance to our leadership team, enhance efficiency and driving business results. You excel in interpreting complex data sets and identifying trends that inform our strategic direction. Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our dynamic business intelligence team developing efficient data integration workflows, processes and visualizations, you will help support:
  • Support optimizing data integration workflows using tools like Informatica to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Support, documenting and implementing efficient ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources, enhancing overall accessibility.
  • Support refining data models to support key business information needs and support predictive analysis and strategic business decisions.
  • Ensure high levels of data quality and availability while maintaining data lineage by implementing best practices for data integration, management and validation.
  • Support maintaining intuitive, interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI. These dashboards should facilitate rapid trend analysis, management by exception, and predicted variances to leading KPIs.
  • Support comprehensive documentation for data integration, collection, modeling and reporting to ensure consistency and transparency across the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Current Sophomore, Junior or Senior enrolled in Bachelors or Masters Program in Data Science, Business Administration or related technical degree
  • Three (3) years of experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point.)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.5
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.

Preferred:

  • Junior/Senior level.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of business finance and processes

Rate Range: $23 - $27 hourly (Lansdale, PA)

Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
