Responsibilities:
* Interface with end users experiencing phone issues such as outages. Troubleshoot issues including impact, subnet, and affected buildings. * Manage hardware and software upgrades, patches, and backups. * Experience with Linux and Windows is required as applications run on both. * VM experience is needed as 90% are hosted on VM. * Solid understanding of the network side of telephony. * Assist users with day-to-day issues. * Experience supporting the above applications. * Work closely with Networking teams to reassign or assign new IP addresses to equipment. * CISCO certifications preferred but not required. * Occasional weekend work. Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Cisco certifications. Specialists handle level 1 issues. This person will be the only engineer. Business Drivers/Customer Impact: * Currently no engineer to fill in for the one who is relocating. Why is the position open: * External Communities Job Description: * 3+ years of experience working with Cisco Call Manager. * 3+ years of experience working with PCCE Contact Center. * 3+ years of experience working with an Avaya PBX system. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
