GPS TECH - GRADESETTER/GRADECHECKER

Role Overview:

This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round.

This position is responsible to safely set grade stakes to guide earth-moving equipment operators, read survey stakes to determine grade specifications, and measure excavation points. You'll also observe excavating activities for conformance, collect GPS data, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and perform other assigned duties. Always prioritize safety and prevent unsafe actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

As a successful GPS Tech/Grade Checker you will have:

1. Experience in grade checking and staking preferred.
2. Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
3. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment for surveying preferred
