This role will also provide support, guidance, and oversight for all network/central office efficiency initiatives within the WNO Network & Business Operation Efficiency organization, ensuring alignment with business strategies and Transformation Office requirements. Support activities will include facilitating ideation sessions and Verizon Lean Six Sigma workouts, helping project leads to leverage best practices, and ensuring maximum savings are realized. The selected candidate will serve as liaison to the WNO Transformation Office (TO), ensuring that all requirements and reporting are adhered to. This role will be responsible for leading and transforming the remote test systems support function which is performed by a team of supervisors and bargained-for associates. This team configures and maintains the servers, applications, network interfaces, and central office test devices that enable remote testability of customer circuits within the Wireline Network Operations footprint. The selected candidate will also be responsible for goal setting, employee and performance development, union engagement, and vendor management. This role will lead technical projects that require partnerships with other internal organizations and buy-in from stakeholders for success. Communicating, influencing, and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders will be critical to success in this role. This position can be located in the following WNO work centers in VA, MD, DC, NY, NJ, PA, MA, RI and DE. What we're looking for... You'll need to have:

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $103,000.00 and $209,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. |
