Credence has an immediate need for a Facilities Operations Specialist/Knowledge Manager supporting our Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence Directorate (A2) program out of Langley AFB, VA.

Oversees facility management resources including service contracts, financial programs, space utilization and information resources. This position will perform 50% of their time as a Knowledge Manager, and 50% of their time as a Facilities Operations Specialist.

The Knowledge Manager shall use knowledge of and experience with Microsoft (MS) Suite, SharePoint, Defense Travel System, Unit Manning Documentation, Air Force Evaluation Management System, and Task Management Tool (TMT), EPMS, or other online tools to support ACC A2 staff planning, analysis, functional matter expertise, USAF intelligence enterprise management, programming, budgeting, technical capabilities, unit engagement, and intelligence production activities (both classified and unclassified) with dedicated Contractors during business hours at each of the nine ACC A2 work centers at Langley AFB, VA.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Executes facility management programs that often require frequent modifications, additions for new equipment and service modifications, while preventing waste and abuse in execution.
  • Advocates and negotiates facility space utilization to promote efficient workflow, complies with space utilization standards, and avoids spending for unnecessary alterations.
  • Maintains current and accurate facility information resources including Facility Development Plan (FDP), statement of conditions, architectural drawings, system schematics, critical utility shut-off locations, maintenance records, and inspection documentation.
  • Manages SRM projects in programming, design, and construction and services contracts.
  • Prepares performance work statements (PWS), identified deficient service contract or civil engineer performance, assesses operations impacts and initiates timely corrective action.
  • Originates and evaluates alternatives to structure contract and reimbursable services for best value and effectiveness.
  • Compiles data and assists in the development of contracts and statement of work specifications based on state and federal laws. Authors and prepares associated correspondence.
  • Attends staff meetings, working groups, and coordinates with various personnel to accomplish facility work, must have full oversight and understanding facility operations.
  • Works directly with Directorate staff. Attends continuing working groups, special working groups, committees and boards such as the Space Utilization board.
  • Evaluates reports by analyzing facts and performing appropriate research and prepares detailed responses. Determines appropriate recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and performs follow-up.
  • Coordinates with other base organizations and various federal, state and local officials to evaluate policies, procedures, and actual maintenance and repair activities and makes changes necessary for improvement.
  • Coordinates with contractors and CE personnel on construction projects to assure they are complying with plans and specifications.
  • Works with host Civil Engineer (BCE), ACC, and other facilities' counterparts to formulate plans for military construction projects for inclusion in the long-range facility/construction plan.
  • Answers queries from contractors of CE personnel concerning items that are not specifically included in drawings.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 10 years' experience and a BA/BS degree or MA/MS degree required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
