The team is seeking a Room Supervisor who will support in training staff on policies, managing property and point-of-sale systems, handling operational tasks for various departments, and maintaining a presence to address service concerns If you think you'd be a good fit, we welcome you to apply! What You'll Do As a Rooms Supervisor, you will assist the Rooms Manager and Housekeeping supervisor by: Overseeing guest experience and ensuring guest satisfaction as a responsible financial steward of SentryWorld. Understand, implement, and train associates on guest check-in, credit policies, guest recovery and handling of all cash, credit, and gift certificate transactions. Understand and utilize the Property Management and Point of Sale systems, which may include training of associates and daily management of systems. Assist in managing operational administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling and operational execution for the Housekeeping and Front of the House departments, (Bell/Door/Front Desk/Outfitter) Maintain a presence at The Inn to monitor the quality of service and to keep informed of any service concerns of complaints, becoming involved as necessary. Instructs and empowers staff to resolve complaints in a manner which will be a positive experience for guests. Partner with Physical Security to ensure safety and security of all Sentry Services associates, visitors, and assets. Communicates with Physical Security regarding any needs and to resolve any concerns. Ensure safe work practices of all staff, including compliance with company and departmental safety rules and regulations and the proper use, handling, storage and labeling of all relevant equipment and hazardous chemicals according to federal regulations. Follow specified procedures and administer daily affairs of Front Office and Housekeeping, including room registration, assigning of rooms, blocking of rooms from a 10 day outlook, handling the VIP's and special attention guests, working with cash/credit/check transactions, and the transferring of information from shift to shift. Additionally, you will: Administer human resources related activities including timely performance and salary reviews and ensures all subordinates adhere to human resources policies and practices. Selects, develops, motivates and recognizes staff. Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time. What it Takes High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Minimum 2 years of related work experience, experience in hotel customer service preferred Ability to handle and resolve guest challenges Excellent customer service, collaborative, and leadership skills Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines Strong communication.
