Electronic Banking Specialist

Join the Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma team as an Electronic Banking Specialist and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-lasting relationships. Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma serves 27 counties in Central and Western Oklahoma with nine branch locations. This position will be based in the Tuttle branch location. Position Summary

Provides high quality customer service to both internal Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma staff and external customers concerning all facets of the cash desk function: disbursement (debit) card program, online bill pay, electronic payment processing (wires, ACH's, etc.). Daily focus on providing finance/accounting operations support for administrative, branch, and customer related activities regarding the flow of funds, cash management, EFT, wire processing, corporate checking activity, and any and all other disbursements and receipts. Provides high quality records maintenance, loan accounting support, general accounting support, the maintenance of daily wire transfer reconcilements/documentation, Check 21 (remote deposit capture) daily deposits, monthly reconcilements and completes any other daily balancing/reconciling activity. This position is customer service driven and a high level of timely, accurate, and concise written and verbal communication will be expected. Compliance with applicable policies, procedures and other established requirements will be of utmost importance.

Essential Functions



  • Internal/External support of the disbursement card program.
  • Internal/External support of online bill pay related activities, enrollments and high-quality customer support.
  • Online banking enrollments, review activities and high-quality customer support.
  • Mobile deposit enrollments, review activities and high-quality customer support.
  • Stage, monitor, review and approve wire requests with a high level of focus on detailed information, quality assurance and fraud prevention practices to ensure the safety of both customer and Association assets.
  • Vendor setups, check approvals and online banking transfers.
  • Administrative or technical assistance to the finance/accounting department.
  • Other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.


Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field preferred or 5 + years of relevant experience.
  • Strong work ethic that supports a willingness to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
