Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in QI Designer QI Scaler Quadient Inspire Interactive and Quadient Inspire. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and preferably experience in Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel requirements.

Location - Indianapolis, Indiana - This is an onsite role - Hybrid: 3 days a week to office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of solutions using QI Designer QI Scaler Quadient Inspire Interactive and Quadient Inspire
• Oversee the design coding testing and deployment of software applications
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
• Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and debugging
• Maintain and update existing software applications to enhance functionality and performance
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to company standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement
• Contribute to the overall success of the team by achieving project milestones and deliverables
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience with QI Designer QI Scaler Quadient Inspire Interactive and Quadient Inspire
• Should have a strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies
• Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Should have experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain (nice to have)
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Should be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Should have a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies
• Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Should have experience with hybrid work model and day shift
• Must be able to work without travel requirements
• Should have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions
• Must be able to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

The annual salary for this position is between $47,975 - $115,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
