Test Engineering Manager Opportunity - Semiconductor Industry

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Test Engineering Manager for a leading semiconductor manufacturing company specializing in high-performance and high-quality devices. This direct-hire position offers an outstanding opportunity to lead a talented team in advancing cutting-edge technology!

Compensation and Schedule



  • Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
  • Shift: 1st shift, 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday



Role Overview

As the Test Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of 4-6 engineers and manage critical aspects of test engineering and infrastructure development. This role requires expertise in RF technology, optoelectronics, and semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will drive troubleshooting, failure analysis, yield improvement, and data management efforts across various technologies.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and supervise the Test Engineering team, ensuring collaboration and efficiency.
  • Manage infrastructure setup for DC, RF, and Reliability automatic testing functions.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, failure analysis, and yield improvement for technologies such as pHEMT, HFET, HBT, GaN HEMT, and Opto devices.
  • Maintain testing databases with a focus on accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support integration engineering teams with data analysis and trend chart generation.
  • Apply semiconductor wafer fab and cleanroom experience to improve processes.

Qualifications



  • Education: PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Physics, Materials Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 7-10 years in the semiconductor wafer fab environment.
  • Strong expertise in RF technology, optoelectronics, and semiconductor testing methodologies.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.
