Top Reasons to Work at Bimbo Bakeries USA: Salary Range: $106,500 - $138,400 Annual Bonus Eligibility Comprehensive Benefits Package Paid Time Off 401k & Company Match Basic Purpose/Scope : The R&D Project Manager (R&D PM) is an on-site, "hands on" position that is responsible for managing significant multi-disciplinary projects requiring extensive knowledge of all Research and Development projects, programs, software applications/databases, products, processes, and laboratory facilities. The R&D PM supports all R&D initiatives by: understanding objectives related to the integration of R&D disciplines into the business; working with R&D leaders to ensure work plans align with business objectives, are well developed, timely, well understood, and well executed; assisting R&D leaders with project schedules, organize technical/project/team meetings, lab and building organization/management, supplier and other technical interactions, key presentations, and coordination of samples for key meetings. Principle Accountabilities: Take ownership of all aspects of project coordination and management for R & D related projects. Work closely with the R & D team and cross-functional partners. Supports the team with the coordination of ordering ingredients, supplies etc. R & D Lab Coordination and Management of all current and future facilities in the USA. Initiative Owner for some key R & D projects that require managerial coordination. Coordination of R & D projects and activities. Technical Meeting Coordinator (All Suppliers, R & D Reviews, Trainings, R & D Events Etc.) Lead R & D ideation sessions for special projects as needed. R & D Product Sample Coordination R & D Presentation and Report Coordination (PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, General R & D reports (graphs) etc.) R & D Project Coordination (Oversight for key updates, status reporting, special project management etc.) R & D SharePoint Manager over shared technical information PMO for R & D-led meetings (ex. Productivity, R & D team meetings, FFL meetings etc.) Coordination & Interface for GB related projects. Coordinate Advanced Technical Training for R & D team via internal and external sources.Create technical and training manuals (onboarding, training, policies, procedures etc. etc.) Support the R & D team with Research on special development projects. Travel to all BBU, Co-man, GB facilities, and suppliers locations to independently and effectively accomplish R & D activities and interface professionally with representatives of the same. Outstanding analytical, conceptual and implementation skills: initiative, persuasiveness and a strong team spirit. Excellent communication skills with the capability to interact at all levels in the organization. Motivated self-starter able to operate on confidential, diverse fronts simultaneously with careful attention to detail. Strong understanding of R & D processes and how the work integrates into other parts of the organization. (Quality, Baking Tech, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Corporate etc.) Required qualifications : Strong commitment to and support of BBU's values, ethics, goals, and objectives. Bachelor's degree in food related sciences and a minor in business. 10 years' experience in the baking or food business Demonstrated strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously Excellent presentation skills. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other software/applications. (Power BI, PowerPoint or other presentation software, Excel, Mips, Trace gains, Wave, Monarca, Morpho, Inspyrus, Product Vision, Passport etc.) Desirable qualifications for position : Bachelor's degree in food-related sciences and an MBA is desirable. 10 years' project management experience in the food industry.
