Clean Energy Sales Operations

About the Role: The Clean Energy business is looking for a Sales Operations Associate to join the team. The successful candidate will provide global inside sales support for this dynamic market. In this role, you will be providing world class customer through lead management, quoting, order management and product and process support. In this role, you will be passionate about providing inside sales support for products that are the highest quality and value in their class. Be technology savvy - with the ability to understand customer ordering behaviors and work with team to develop standard processes and utilize automated solutions for their future ordering needs

This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:



  • $25.00 - $36.00 per hour

Responsibilities:



  • Build strong customer relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Coordinate customer needs across regions and functions within Gore
  • Independently handle basic inquiries (including standard part quotations)
  • Give feedback and actively lead and participate in process creation and improvements
  • Provide customer phone and email coverage
  • Order management and Purchase Order review
  • Process customer complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Partner with cross functional members of the Account and product teams (i.e., inside sales, field sales, planners, finance, and product specialists)


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 1 year of inside sales/customer support experience, OR a minimum of 3 years inside sales experience
  • Experience working with internal and external customers (both domestic and international) in a professional manner with a strong focus on process creation and improvement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (e.g. E1, SAP, Salesforce), quality systems, and other supporting systems including generating system reports (order status, shipment reports, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with a proven ability to work independently, within a team environment,and across cultures and regions
  • Effective communication skills (both oral and written) including listening skills
  • Flexibility, prioritization, organizational, follow-through and multitasking skills to accommodate a large, complex workload using good judgement to make sound decisions
  • Order process management, entering data into internal systems; set up, implement, manage improved order processes; create and manage BA's, debit notes, credit notes and invoicing where required
  • Strong attention to detail
