Quality Improvement Director

The Guidance Center (TGC) serves as the Community Mental Health Center for Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson Counties in Kansas, dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals regardless of their financial circumstances. Salary and Benefit Overview:

• This position offers a competitive annual salary of $101,970 to $106,970 based on experience.
• Regular Monday to Friday schedule during normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establishes and upholds a robust Quality Assurance & Improvement program across the organization.
2. Develops and manages risk management activities, ensuring compliance with certifications and accreditation standards.
3. Collaborates with the organization's HIPAA compliance officer.
4. Reviews, updates, creates, and implements policies and procedures.
5. Oversees the adherence to policies, procedures, and directives to maintain accreditation standards.
6. Maintains expertise in behavioral health services and service delivery.
7. Serves as Corporate Compliance Officer, conducting audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
8. Leads the development of value-based care initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and financial sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

• Master's Degree:




• The candidate must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Professional Counseling.




• Kansas Licensure:




• In addition to the Master's degree, candidates must be licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LSCSW, LCP, or LCPC.

Alternative Consideration:

• Registered Nurse (RN):




• Licensure as an RN by the Kansas Board of Nursing is also acceptable.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: Minimum of two years of experience in Federal/State grant management, Project Management, or Operations of Patient-Centered Care.

Preferred: Previous experience with a CCBHC and familiarity with SAMHSA standards.
