Managing Senior Director, Client Relations

Based in home office or regional office, the primary responsibility is to effectively manage ongoing relationships with Key employer-sponsored contracts across the country. Focus of this position will be to provide excellence in customer service resulting in client success and retention. Function as a resource and mentor to the Associate Directors and Directors on the team and as needed, directly manage center specialized team members.

This is a Remote position available in the United States.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Manage Associate Director(s) who will be responsible for up to 50 client sponsored child care centers each
  • Manage director(s) to ensure the optimum development of Key Account employer-sponsored contracts to support the company's retention and expansion objectives.
  • Serve as a senior representative of Family Solutions Client Relations team and extend responsibilities to serve on committees, handle special projects and represent BH at various functions, conferences and events.
  • Manage Key Accounts and partnerships to ensure oversight and coordination of all services provided by BH.
  • Ensuring the optimum maintenance of Key employer-sponsored contracts to support the company's expansion objectives.
  • Proactively and responsively develop consistent, successful customer service with employer sponsors to maximize client success, retention and loyalty and to ensure compelling client testimonials and endorsements.
  • Renewing and negotiating client contracts to optimize company's financial return and contract terms.
  • Ensuring clients experience the maximum return on their child care investment and view Bright Horizons as their strategic partner for all child care work/life -related issues.
  • Responding to client requests.
  • Supporting operations in the development of new programs for clients, including budget development, developing presentations, contract negotiations and general support.
  • Assist with the development of new programs in other territories as appropriate
  • Manage your client base with a goal to streamline, innovate and use technology and systems effectively scale throughout the organization

Decision Making Authority

Directs and advises Regional Managers and Division Vice Presidents in the divisions he/she supports on strategic direction on existing client business structure, requests for proposals for existing clients and opportunities for business growth for existing clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10 years of account management experience at the Director or similar level.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of Account Managers.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Must have related business experience which includes managing a budget and strong analytical, organizational, management and decision-making skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Experience interacting with Executive levels internally as well as externally.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Provides expertise in a wide variety of areas. The ability to anticipate and solve complex business problems is essential.

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $140,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for bonus and RSUs.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule(vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
