Position Overview The Learning Events and Operations Specialist will provide operational and administrative support for Exact Sciences' Commercial Performance & Training team through the coordination of a variety of learning events and promotions, both virtual and in person; including, but not limited to, learning events across multiple site locations, virtual workshops and classroom experiences, and a broad support of Commercial Performance & Training operations. This position will have the responsibility for the coordination and negotiation of logistics related to in person workshop delivery, facilitator scheduling, supporting travel arrangement, workshop and training event support, and broad Commercial Effectiveness support. The Learning Events and Operations Specialist will work across multiple departments; including but not limited to, Commercial Services, Conference & Ops Services, Amenities & Engagement, Catering, IT and any other department involved in the planning and attendance of learning workshops and events. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develops, employs and optimizes systems, processes, procedures, and workflows that help others deliver best in class learning events. Monitors results and identifies innovations to reduce process breakdowns.
- Manage the annual training calendar and coordinate the logistics, scheduling, and communications for live and virtual training programs; including, but not limited to, new hire training, webinars, events, and ad hoc trainings.
- Maintain backstock inventory of educational aids and materials on behalf of the commercial effectiveness team.
- Provide necessary materials to execute in-person learning experiences through coordination of printing, IT support, and catering.
- Serve as the first point of contact for learner questions making it easy to do business with the department, asking questions to accurately identify customer needs and understand the customer choices.
- Maintain and update training class rosters, ensuring accurate tracking of attendees
- Partner with the MLR team to submit, update, and track training materials for review, ensuring timely alignment with guidelines.
- Manage Coupa administration for processing MSAs, SOWs, and POs.
- Serve as functional LMS Administrator to support the learning experience of commercial content via Learning Universe. Pull reports and address IT tickets, as needed.
- Support the team with projects and ensure that all the information contained on the intranet is accurate, up-to-date, and regularly maintained.
- Support gathering of learner survey data in partnership with course designers and facilitators.
- Provide technical support for live virtual sales training.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously while delivering accurate and timely results.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply structured techniques for applying Process Improvement and Change Management to improve learner experience.

- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for approximately 15% of a typical working day.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Degree/General Education Degree and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of experience working in administration of events, learning experiences, event planning, hospitality, and/or travel or other experiences as outlined in the essential duties.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes to create and deliver value to our stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Proficient in using Teams and other collaboration platforms.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously while delivering accurate and timely results.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a learning and development/commercial function.
- Ability to coordinate multiple training events in a corporate setting.
- Ability to pull data and create dashboards that tell the story of how investing in development impacts business results.
- Basic proficiency in Learning Management systems.

Salary Range: $67,000.00 - $109,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
