About the role:

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to join our Transformation Team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to support business development initiatives and provide in-depth analysis. Additionally, you will support and eventually lead commercial negotiations.

Reporting to the VP Business Development - Transformation, you will:

• Lead preparation of financials models (Assessments)
• Develop business development solutions and strategies
• Lead conversations with external parties, prospects and internal stakeholders
• Present business cases to the Executive Team
• Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions
• Use financial models to establish asset and company valuations
• Assist with preparation, participate and sit-in with discussions with management and executive leadership on assigned project topics
• Take initiative to make process improvements and standardize approaches
• Work with Business Unit and Resource Unit deal team members to coordinate due diligence activities
• Query financial data from Hyperion / Essbase or similar

What you can bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
• MBA or Master's degree is an asset.
• 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in finance or valuation work.
• Proficiency in understanding and analyzing financial statements, with knowledge of various valuation methodologies.
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to connect with others quickly and build trust.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, comfortable with analyzing complex problems and working on ambiguous projects.
• Enthusiastic team player with good collaboration skills.
• Experience with queries, including ESSbase, Hyperion, Oracle, or similar systems is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nous recherchons un(e) Directeur(trice) en Developpement Commercial pour rejoindre notre Equipe de Transformation. Dans ce role cle, vous mettrez a profit votre expertise pour soutenir les initiatives de developpement commercial et fournir des analyses approfondies. De plus, vous soutiendrez et finirez par diriger des negociations commerciales.

Relevant du/de la Vice-President(e) Developpement Commercial - Transformation, vous serez charge(e) de:

• Piloter la preparation des modeles financiers (evaluations)
• Elaborer des solutions et des strategies de developpement commercial
• Conduire des discussions avec des parties externes, des prospects et des parties prenantes internes
• Presenter des etudes de cas au Comite de Direction
• Assumer le role de Chef(fe) de projet pour les equipes affectees aux projets transformateurs
• Developper et maintenir des modeles financiers pour appuyer les decisions d'investissement
• Utiliser les modeles financiers pour etablir des evaluations d'actifs et d'entreprises
• Contribuer a la preparation et participer aux discussions avec la direction et les cadres dirigeants sur les sujets assignes
• Prendre l'initiative d'ameliorer les processus et de standardiser les approches
• Collaborer avec les membres des equipes de transaction des Unites d'Affaires et des Unites de Ressources pour coordonner les activites de diligence raisonnable
• Interroger les donnees financieres provenant de Hyperion/Essbase ou systemes similaires

Ce que vous apportez au role:

• Diplome en commerce, finance ou ingenierie.
• Un MBA ou une maitrise est un atout.
• 10 ans d'experience, dont au moins 5 ans dans la finance ou l'evaluation.
• Maitrise de la comprehension et de l'analyse des etats financiers, avec une connaissance des differentes methodes d'evaluation.
• Solides competences en negociation et en affaires, avec une capacite a etablir rapidement une connexion et a inspirer confiance.
• Excellentes competences organisationnelles et en documentation, capable de gerer plusieurs projets avec des delais serres.
• Excellentes aptitudes analytiques et decisionnelles, a l'aise avec l'analyse de problemes complexes et des projets ambigus.
• Esprit d'equipe enthousiaste avec de bonnes competences en collaboration.
• Experience des requetes, notamment ESSbase, Hyperion, Oracle, ou systemes similaires, est un plus.
• Maitrise de Microsoft Excel et PowerPoint.
• Bilinguisme (francais/anglais) puisque vous devez communiquer avec des parties prenantes a travers la region.
• Volonte de voyager jusqu'a 25% du temps.
