*Description*
This role will be assisting with hourly timecard payroll work and payroll for salaried populations - will be processing payroll for 1,500+ people. Primarily US payroll and no international experience required. Daily Duties: * Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including salary, hourly, and commission-based staff. * Ensure accurate and timely calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and other compensation elements. * Maintain and update employee payroll records, including changes in salaries, benefits, and tax withholdings. * Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes. * Equity award processing * Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and company policies. * Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions promptly and professionally. * Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any discrepancies. * Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as needed. * Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Looking for candidates with: * Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. * Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. * Proficiency working with ADP Workforce Now and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred or Associates with relatable experience 8+ years of manual payroll processing experience - exempt, non-exempt, commission based payroll Strong Excel knowledge - pivot tables, excel calculations Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency working with ADP Workforce Now and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. PREFER: * ADP experience * Financial Services industry experience *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
