Job Purpose

Develop and manage Morale & Engagement Programs that will enable the growth of associates at all levels based on department priorities or given objectives. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to Overseefab shop, Business Plan and Theme Activities, and utilization of Kronos, and supporting department training/new hire orientation including HLC required courses.

Key Accountabilities

Morale Leader



  • PDCA on department Morale KPI's to assure achievement or continuous improvement
  • Create, Develop & Maintain Morale BP Strategy
  • Manage Morale BP Themes to assure on-time completion and in/out achievement
  • Lead Development & Presentation of Departmental Morale Monthly Report to department and division management
  • BP Theme Leadership as assigned by department
  • Coordinates all training manpower for areas throughout AF Department
  • Schedule, coordinate and organize associate roundtable activities
  • Support department training including HLC courses


Involvement Leader



  • Submit, Evaluates, Approve/Disapprove, Route and grade Innovation and Kudos
  • Guide / train associates on suggestion process, assist with getting needed materials and follow up on open suggestions, associate participation growth
  • Oversee involvement programs
  • Track and report Kudos / Involvement activity and progress; communicate / presentations of plant tours
  • Assist in planning/organizing plant Engagement activities i.e., Kudos, Involvement Celebrations,Honda Tours, Company Celebration


Office Facilitator



  • Manage inter-office communications or bulletins
  • Track inventory of office supplies, ordering and restocking as needed

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor of Scienceor 4 years applicable manufacturing experience
  • 0-4 Years applicable manufacturing experience based on education
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Positive attitude and flexible to daily changes
  • Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented with good leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, multitask
  • High energy with desire to excel
  • Self-motivated and self-managed

Working Conditions

  • Work will be combination of office and meeting room activity as primary
  • Lineside interaction with associates and line management team is secondary
  • Possible support required outside normal working hours.
  • Overtime when needed
