Product Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Consultant with 9 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft Azure IoT and a good understanding of store operations. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our product offerings and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of IoT solutions using Microsoft Azure IoT.
• Oversee the integration of IoT solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of IoT solutions to ensure quality and performance.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of IoT solutions and recommend improvements.
• Develop and deliver training materials and documentation for customers and internal teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IoT solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IoT technology and store operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all IoT solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development processes and methodologies.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status and progress to stakeholders.
• Support the sales and marketing teams in promoting IoT solutions to potential customers.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Microsoft Azure IoT.
• Should have a good understanding of store operations.
• Must possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Must be willing to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Should have experience in developing and delivering training materials.
• Must have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
• Should have experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

5+ years of Software engineering and design experience with large scale business applications in a fast-paced iterative development environment.

2+ years of experience in public cloud (Azure)

2+ years of experience in React.

Experience with C# .NET React data structures basic algorithms and applying object-oriented principles and design patterns.

Strong API design and development skills.

Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio and Git.

Proficiency with relational databases craft and query construction and optimization (we use SQL Server and PostgreSQLother RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) experience is acceptable.

Strong understanding of architectural principles of software development modelling and security.

Strong understanding of the deployment pipeline tools.

Sound understanding of GraphQL modern security models and integration with Services (like Hasura) database skills.

Strongly Preferred

Solid understanding of Authentication models to help drive integration of the Authorization technologies with FM Global data sources to obtain and run user data.

Observability skills scripting skills automation Pipeline/CICD experience DevOps

Certifications Required

• Microsoft Certified: Azure IoT Developer Specialty
