Risk Analyst 1

The hours for this position are:

Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Role

Evaluates vulnerabilities to identify potential risks. Supports development of the Credit Union's enterprise risk management program, including third-party vendor onboarding and annual due diligence.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain third-party vendor onboarding reviews and annual vendor due diligence in a timely manner
• Conduct process and service level risk assessments
• Filing insurance claims and maintaining appropriate records for coverage
• Conduct enterprise risk management tasks, including risk assessments and incident management
• Maintain current and up-to-date vendor management library with accurate reviews and analysis
• Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates
• Maintain current knowledge of all applicable risk management trends and emerging risks
• Support the Risk Manager in updating and taking notes during meetings involving department and enterprise-wide risk assessments, disaster recovery, incident management, and business continuity
• Serve as a backup for fraud investigations, prevention, and recovery

Education

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions may be substituted
  
  

Experience

• 0 - 2 years of similar or related experience
• Operational experience in the banking/credit union industry, with systems utilized by the credit union preferred
