Job Title Mechanical Engineer Intern (Returning Interns Only) - Summer 2025 Location Alabama - Huntsville - Huntsville, AL 35802 US (Primary) Job Description Position Overview Torch Technologies invites applications for a Mechanical Engineer Intern position. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a mechanically inclined engineering student to join our innovative team. The intern will assist in various stages of mechanical design and development, contributing to projects that solve real-world engineering challenges. This position is ideal for a student eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting and gain valuable industry experience. Huntsville, Alabama Key Responsibilities Within your internship, you may... Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and/or components. Participate in the development of prototypes and experimental processes. Perform simulations and data analysis to evaluate mechanical designs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address engineering challenges. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mechanical engineering. Job Requirements Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Previous Torch Technologies intern Strong understanding of mechanical concepts. Proficiency with CAD software and engineering simulation tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Requirements US Citizen. At least 18 years old. Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution. In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0. Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period.
