Primary Purpose:

The Credit Card Specialist is responsible for payment exception processing, payment research, monetary adjustments, and credit balance refunds for both commercial and consumer credit card accounts.

***This is a temporary role while one of our employees is out on leave***

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Payment exception processing
  • Payment research
  • Monetary adjustments
  • Credit Balance Refunds
  • Email distribution from the Credit Card central email address
  • Overdraft Protection research
  • Rewards Enrollments
  • Cross check of re-aged accounts
  • Credit Balance Refund Report
  • Ensure quality standards and daily processing deadlines are met
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor


Job Specifications: (Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job)



  • High school education and 1-2 years related work experience in bank operations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment meeting deadlines and production goals
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a self starter and excel at time management
