Freedom for the soul. Are you ready to join us? Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the "jewel" of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. The Area Manager (AM) is responsible for the performance and results of manufacturing operations. The two roles we are seeking are the Area Manager of Maintenance and the Area Manager of Materials Operations. The AM develops and provides leadership to supervisors, engineers, staff, and 3rd party support resources. This position has full responsibility for supporting on time end-to-end fulfillment of customer and intercompany production orders through the support of either equipment reliability or material replenishment throughout the plant. The AM is accountable for driving world class manufacturing performance using operational excellence and lean methodologies on all safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, and sustainability measures. This role directs continuous improvement activities and coordinates the development of the facility's people, processes, and capabilities. This leader will establish and consistently deliver industry-leading performance through best-in-class safety, quality and a culture of pride and craftsmanship that makes H-D the most desirable place to work while making it the benchmark for others in the industry to model.
