2nd Shift Supervisor ark This list shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position. * Directly supervise production employees. * Communicate with the Production Supervisor about production priorities and any issues that have occurred during the shift, on a daily basis. * Monitor production performance to ensure production goals are being met. * Explain company policies to workers. Enforce policies and safety regulations. * Responsible for locking up the shop daily. * Utilize a forklift to ensure production employees have material needed for production jobs. * Assist production employees in troubleshooting IT and machine related problems. * Perform first and last piece inspections for production employees when necessary. * Pull and set up tooling from the tool crib for production jobs when necessary. * Continue to run or shut down test stands for the lab as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Education High school diploma. Experience and/or Training * 5 or more years of machining experience. * 3 or more years of part inspection experience. CMM experience is a plus * 2 or more years of lead person or supervisory experience. * 1 or more years of experience with ERP systems. Epicor experience is a plus. * Forklift experience. Licenses/Certificates * Forklift certification preferred * College level supervisory related program certificate preferred.
