Job Overview

The Specialist, Project Management will serve as the key liaison between Macy's marketing, creative, and media teams to manage the planning and execution of integrated campaigns. This role is responsible for driving workflow, maintaining visibility into project schedules, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in translating campaign strategy into actionable plans and deliverables, enabling teams to operate with clarity and focus. This role ensures that work moves forward efficiently and meets established deadlines.

What You Will Do



  • Lead cross-functional workflows for seasonal and always-on marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment, progress, and timely delivery across teams.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, identifying key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Provide strategic oversight of campaign execution, ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Maintain consistent project visibility and transparency through clear documentation, trackers, and communications.
  • Act as a central point of contact across marketing, creative, and media teams to connect strategy with execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication and feedback loops to drive decision-making, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional challenges, proactively surfacing risks and removing obstacles to ensure project success.
  • Own project status updates, recap meetings, and deliverable tracking to keep leadership and stakeholders informed.
  • Ensure process adherence while identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Bring leadership, focus, and momentum to campaign work, acting as the driver of timelines and cross-team accountability.


Skills You Will Need



  • Strong storytelling and creative intuition, with the ability to translate business goals into compelling brand experiences.
  • Adaptable and solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Passion for brand marketing and creative development, with an understanding of consumer behavior and industry trends.
  • Ability to drive a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.


Who You Are



  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management, creative operations, or brand marketing with a strong focus on agency management.
  • Experience managing the execution of campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless integration of creative assets.
  • Deep understanding of 360-degree campaign execution, including digital, social, video, in-store, and experiential marketing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within retail, fashion, or consumer brand marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; experience with Monday.com or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
