What you will do
- Lead a team of Supplier Development leaders and NPI Engineers across multiple PBU/plants to drive continuous improvements.
- Ensure alignment with business needs to enhance sustainable supplier performance in on-time delivery, quality, capacity, scalability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with the Global Fulfillment Manager, PBU Operations leaders, and Procurement to implement processes, tools, and training that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in order fulfillment.
- Influence key decision-making processes directly tied to customer and supplier delivery.
- Establishes and maintains product and process quality control standards and procedures during new product introduction projects
- Manages, coordinates and ensures all quality and reliability deliveries including testing and regulatory compliance on all new product introduction projects.
How you will do it
-Lead and develop a team of Supplier Development leaders to drive performance in delivery, quality, capacity, and sustainability in collaboration with global fulfillment, procurement, engineering, and operations teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability through target development, KPI performance management, and governance structure.
- Redefine and enhance the supplier development strategy.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to support business needs and drive value creation.
- Develop programs for supplier capacity audits and scalability control, analyzing production setup to identify waste and process development needs.
- Implement structured problem-solving processes for performance issues and facilitate training programs.
- Evaluate new suppliers to ensure readiness for NPI programs and lead assessments for strategic suppliers to identify and address performance issues.
- Establish robust onboarding and risk assessment processes for supplier performance, execute risk mitigation strategies, and conduct periodic on-site assessments.
- Effectively communicate process outcomes and risks during business reviews.
- Monitor supplier compliance with delivery schedules, identify risks, and manage critical issues per JCI protocols.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Engineering to ensure timely material availability.
- Manage KPI performance through supplier management of demand-supply variation and capacity planning.
- Provide strategic follow-up to quality rules and objectives during the development of products and processes for sub-assemblies and assemblies.
- Ensure appropriate use of advanced quality plan tools
- Ensure appropriate use of risk analysis tools during implementation of new sub-assemblies and assemblies
- Ensure compliance with projects for the introduction of new products in accordance with the provisions of the Advanced Quality Planning procedure
- Ensure that corrective and preventive actions, related to NPI's to gate 6 completion, and customer complaints are addressed in a timely manner
- Ensure a proper qualification process and new product to sustaining activities to the site.
- Serves as the lead of communication with upper management related to NPI implementation related to Quality activities.
What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
- 8 years of experience in continuous improvement within manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain, preferably in a global environment.
- Hands-on experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing tools.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Ability to influence and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously under tight schedules.
- Proven analytical and organizational skills.
- Professional resilience in supplier management challenges.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
