Here's an improved version of the job description that is more engaging and detailed: Job Description: * Supporting Product Capabilities: You will be responsible for supporting various capabilities under a designated product area, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. * Understanding User Stories: You will decompose capabilities into manageable features and stories, partnering with engineering teams to create requirements and user stories. You will also collaborate with business partners to gather necessary information for user story creation. * Collaborative Partnerships: You will effectively partner with users, business, technology, and product teams. This involves identifying and leveraging subject matter experts (SMEs) and collaborating with product managers/owners to prioritize work that meets both obligations and opportunities. * Strategic Insight: You will have a deep understanding of the overall product strategy and roadmap, as well as the demand, priorities, and capacity of the scrum team. You will ensure that user stories are directly tied to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). * Balancing Needs: You will effectively balance the needs of operations and technical teams, articulating an understanding of core technology that enables business functions to partners. * Backlog Prioritization: You will support the prioritization of the backlog, ensuring that the most critical tasks are addressed first. * Building Relationships: You will build strong relationships to become a trusted partner within the organization. * Continuous Learning: You will attend training sessions to further advance your knowledge and skills. * Adaptability: You will operate in an ambiguous and dynamic environment, adopting a growth mindset to navigate challenges and drive success. Qualifications Required: * HS Diploma or GED equivalent * 5+ years of experience in product management experience * 2+ years of experience working in an agile or scaled agile development environment * Ability to obtain a public trust clearance Nice to Have: * LESS Certification Please NOTE: This role requires someone to have the ability to obtain a public trust clearance! Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
