Altaire is currently seeking an experienced Resident Services Manager to join our team at our Altaire property in Arlington, VA!

Job responsibilities for the position include:



  1. Converting leads into community tours by following up with all prospects and providing helpful and compelling information about the community and neighborhood.
  2. Touring prospective residents and contributing leases to maintain property occupancy.
  3. Manage, coordinate, and maintain regular contact with residents (at each designated development) primarily through face-to-face meetings, and/or via phone contact specific to each individual/family needs.
  4. Conduct program outreach and assist supervisor with new strategies for resident retention and engagement.
  5. Create monthly/quarterly calendar of events as well as produce outreach flyers and newsletters.
  6. Provide information to residents regarding community resources.
  7. Participate in additional and/or special projects as required from time to time by management.
  8. Build brand loyalty and support resident retention by providing a consistently positive experience and caring for the community.
  9. Maintain an organized and presentable work area at all times, including front desk, package rooms, logs/reservation systems.
  10. Plan and execute regular resident events.
  11. Review and maintain social media platforms to engage followers and promote community.
  12. Encourage online engagement and positive reviews.
  13. Ability to work day, weekend, or evening shifts.


Successful candidates should possess the following job requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3-5 years' equivalent work experience in property management, hospitality, or retail/travel environment.
  • Experience with high rise lease up preferred
  • Sales experience required
  • Knowledge of Yardi Software
  • Working knowledge of LRO is a plus
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Working most weekends is necessary (2 days off during the week)
  • Working during inclement weather is also necessary.
