Job Summary:

This role will be part of the internal recruiting team that leads and drives the full-cycle recruitment efforts and talent acquisition strategy for Belden#s businesses within the United States and Canada. This position will report to the Director, Talent Acquisition and will be an integral part of the North America Recruiting Team. Experience building relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and the HR team will be critical to success in this role, along with the ability to prioritize time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of strong customer service, to both internal and external contacts. A successful candidate will think creatively when faced with challenging roles, timelines,and people. The Sr. Recruiter is responsible for acquiring talented individuals for multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities:




  • Be a trusted partner with various stakeholders to understand business, department, and positionneeds.
  • Develop recruiting strategies to source, attract and recruit to fill key positions.
  • Develop strategies to target, source and recruit a candidate pipeline using sourcing platforms, industry research, job boards, etc.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to develop creative job postings to better attract candidates.
  • Manage day to day with the mindset that customers define our success and possess a continuous improvement mentality of how we can improve as a team.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines of passive and active candidates for positions that we often recruit for and are difficult to fill.
  • Focus and achieve KPIs for this position.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with Belden's Leadership Team, vendors, community organizations and other team members to create partnerships that yield success, predictable results, and credibility.
  • Demonstrate agility to switch gears and re-prioritize within a matrix organization as this role supports all platforms and business units within the US and Canada.



Required Skills and Experience




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience recruiting professional level positions (including engineering, software developers, product, and corporate roles enterprise wide based in North America)
  • Experience recruiting across different functions, with the ability to tailor approach based on type of role (i.e., technical role vs. non-technical role)
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates through a variety of methods (LinkedIn, Indeed etc.)
  • Exposure to performance metrics for recruiting (e.g., time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, etc.)
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
  • Experience with SuccessFactors ATS a plus



Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $102,000 - $125,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
